Self-directed courses are asynchronous online lessons designed to empower learners to take control of their own learning journey. These courses are accessible to participants for approximately 6 weeks. Throughout their enrollment period, learners are encouraged to proactively plan the amount of time and energy they are willing to dedicate to completing each course.

Employees will need to choose between a personalized stream or a preset course stream. If there are any errors or corrections needed in the enrollment form submitted previously, please refrain from submitting another form. Instead, kindly inform the Training Section via email at [email protected] about the correction you wish to make.

Upon enrollment, employees will receive an email from the HRDO Training Section confirming their enrollment in the course. Confirmed enrollment ensures that all subsequent activities completed by the participant within the course (e.g., diagnostic/summative assessments) are recorded and can contribute towards earning a certificate of completion.

Employees who are unable to enroll during the intake season may still browse the courses, as they are public and accessible. However, their activities within the courses will not count towards earning a score or course completion certificate.

Participants will undergo a combination of formative and summative assessments to assess the quality of their learning. Summative exams determine whether a participant passes or fails the enrolled course. To pass, participants must achieve a score of at least 60% in the summative exam. Only those who pass the course will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion. Certificates of completion will be released one week after the conclusion of the course intake season.
